Location: the hotel was just next door to the beach promenade, and restaurants ect. The staff were kind and pleasant, nothing to complain about. When we checked in, king room with yard view was ready...

My room - the bathroom could have been 6inch wider for more convenience, the tiles in the shower cubicle were "very" slipery

The hotel was very clean with contemporary decoration

The hotel was not as we expected, - the pictures on the website show decked terrace areas and give a feeling of a slightly more luxurious hotel. We didn't see an decked area on the outside of the hotel on either side. Rooms were very compact. There wasn't any coffee & tea facilities in the room - Provision of these facilities would have made the stay at the Excelsior a little more comfortable, as would have been the ability to order food and alcohol in the evening.

We where very close to the beach and the buffet breakfast was amazing. Also, the service was exeptional.

Friendly and helpful reception staff, nice view from the window, even if the rooms with windows to the street, the North sea is just a few meters from the hotel, good breakfast, nice design and colors of the bathroom, lots of free parking places around the hotel.
